Position: Implementation Consultant

Job description:

To implement our software solutions for our customers. A typical project involves liaising with the customer throughout, establishing their business rules (such as product pricing and discounts), setting up processes for a two-way exchange of data between the customer’s system and our cloud system.

Predominantly office based, liaising with a customer via telephone or email but there could be occasional face-to-face meetings with the customer.

Skills and personal qualities should include:

  • Technical Windows PC knowledge (software installation, scheduled tasks)

  • Familiar with Microsoft Office products

  • Use of spreadsheets and databases (knowledge of SQL databases/queries or VB scripting would be an advantage)

  • Good communicator (both verbal and written)

  • Analytical and methodical approach to implementing a workable solution

  • Creative and innovative

  • Team player

  • Good time management skills

  • Takes ownership of tasks and solutions

  • Self-starter

  • Completer finisher

The role is ideally suited to someone with at least one year’s commercial experience in software implementations. We like to engage multi-skilled people and there is scope to be involved in other aspects of the business including application testing, technical documenting and user training.
