Orders in the field were taken on printed excel forms or forms that sales agents had created themselves. Orders at trade shows were handwritten onto NCR pads and brought back to the office for processing.

This caused many problems, for example: “Orders taken at trade shows were time-consuming to write, meaning interaction with customers was limited as your wrote them out. Orders had to be manually entered into the system which only happened after the trade show (sometimes 5-7 days) and all the orders created a massive backlog.”

Bomb Cosmetics can take trade show orders digitally, using an iPad, which is linked to their back-office system and automatically updates. Our app for sales reps has made the more order-taking process much easier and more streamlined, increasing their productivity and morale.
