The Blue Alligator team attended the Sales Innovation Expo this week for the first time in a couple of years. Lots of useful hints and tips from various speakers throughout the day both on marketing and selling your products/services. Something that was also very useful was meeting some of the SAAS based providers and finding out a little more about how the bigger players in the world are hooking into each other. The daily sales seminar gave us a good insight on how we can use a different selling method when approaching certain customers and interacting with them. Some great hints and tips came out of it giving us some extra tools in the tool box for future use. Thanks Daniel Disney! There were also a lot of suppliers of web traffic analysis software, in particular, LeadForensics who showed us the opportunities that could be missed in the 98% of web traffic that doesn’t convert. Very valuable information when looking at your google analytics data! Aside from all the business talk we took to the track and had a competition between us. Our sales manager came out on top but only because of the error from the apprentice on the last corner… Keep an eye out, Blue Alligator are on track to innovate yet again!
